Contacted Diane, who books the theatre inpatients patients. She was amazing, went above/ beyond listening to me and helping me with dates for surgery with Mr Wilkies( orthopaedic consultant). Diane and all the team from the booking department were professional and very helpful.

I’m sorry to see so many previous negative reviews, especially given that they were left during the pandemic and mostly regarding wait times and responsiveness. Unfortunately, some people think they are the only ones who matter. I have just had an over night stay at Oaklands for a surgical procedure under Mr Alkhaffaf. The hospital is well maintained & managed, very clean and comfortable. Mr Alkhaffaf was very reassuring and my surgery went well. The sisters on duty on 20/21st of June kept the ward running like clockwork. I didn’t get all of the staffs names, but I can’t praise them enough, they made my stay comfortable and worry free. In particular, nurses Kim & Sinead who I was assigned to were fantastic, both a credit to the hospital. Thank you for looking after me so well.

Had a hernia repair carried out yesterday afternoon by Mr Rahi now back home safe and well with no pain at all! The Oaklands completely exceeded my expectations, the staff are just amazing. Friendly, interested and caring, special thanks to the Anaesthetists team for their kindness looking after me when I was so scared of needles. Thank you.
