Information for patients staying at Oaklands Hospital

Our accommodation

We have a range of accommodation including:

 

 15 en-suite rooms, including 2 three-bedded ambulatory suites, digital televisions and telephones.

Call button

Should you require anything at anytime, please do not hesitate to call the nursing staff via the nurse call button located in the bedside handset. Our staff will endeavour to answer the call as quickly as possible.

Meals

All meals are cooked fresh on site and our meal service provides a wide variety of choice. You will be given a menu daily from which to make your selection.

Parking

Free hospital car parking including disabled parking bays are available close to the hospital.

Personal laundry

Your needs in this area are best arranged with family and friends as the hospital has no facilities to cater for this.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted within the hospital or the hospital grounds.

Telephones

Telephones are provided at the bedside of each patient and are direct-dial for local, STD, ISD, and mobile calls.

Television

Individual digital televisions are provided free-of-charge. A single handset by your bed allows you to selection of free view television channels.

Visiting hours

Our visiting hours are 1pm- 8pm for Premium Care Patients and 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm for NHS patients.

 

We do ask that you be considerate to others in the hospital. Lots of noise and many people can be very distressing to some patients. Please respect their need for rest and privacy. Children are very welcome but they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
